According to a recent disclosure by Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) is set to make its much-anticipated debut on Game Pass in the latter half of July.
It seems a relevant announcement may come shortly today, strategically aligned with the reported spike in Game Pass costs. As per Microsoft's fresh proclamation, the monthly subscription for Game Pass Ultimate will increase from $16.99 to $19.99 beginning July 10th. The PC Game Pass will rise from $9.99 to $11.99 right from the same date.
Besides, the Xbox Game Pass Console will be phased out and succeeded by the Xbox Game Pass Standard at $14.99. The latter, however, does not assure immediate access to flagship games, EA Play, and certain select titles housed in the Ultimate library.
These adjustments become more meaningful amid unverified talks of Microsoft contemplating the inclusion of future Call of Duty installments in the "most versions" of Game Pass. Consequently, the impending price hike and the planned addition of Modern Warfare 3 seem logical.
A whispering campaign further mentions that a number of titles published by Activision might as well grace the Game Pass soon. This list might include popular games such as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.
