Pacific Drive Has Sold Over 600,000 Units

Ironwood Studios has delightedly reported selling over 600,000 copies of their major release, Pacific Drive. The innovative survival crafting/rogue-lite driving game was unveiled on February 22nd for PS5 and PC and has since earned considerable praise, reflecting a current score of 79 on Metacritic.
Visualizing the reception Pacific Drive has received, Alex Dracott, the CEO and creative director of Ironwood, expressed in a statement, “The reaction towards Pacific Drive has exceeded our wildest expectations. We hadn't anticipated achieving this mark when we embarked on this project. It feels as if we're living a dream.

The latest update adds features to the existing Garage tools and introduces a new capability, the Junk Jet, for strafing. To add to the excitement, The Zone now shows variations on ARDA trailers, barriers, and more. Additionally, the much-anticipated Photo Mode has been introduced alongside a new profit-making cosmetic pack picturing the Friendly Dumpster.
Ironwood Studios has lined up more updates for the Fall and Winter. The former will introduce new difficulty levels, adjustability settings, and gratuitous cosmetics with yet another profit-making cosmetic pack. The winter update, however, is "withheld," thus teasing more exciting details shortly.
