Anthony Mackie's John Doe and Samoa Joe along with Will Arnett's portrayal of Sweet Tooth are set to make a comeback in the second season of Twisted Metal. The inaugural season on Peacock proved to be quite successful, garnering a favorable reception from both critics and viewers, evidenced by scores of 67% and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, respectively. The action-packed series is scheduled to make its return in the summer. Fans can expect to see Anthony Mackie's John Doe once again, teaming up with Stephanie Beatriz's Quiet, as they navigate the perilous antics of the deranged and lethal clown Sweet Tooth, who is animated by the collaborative endeavors of Samoa Joe and Will Arnett. The new season, however, promises to shake things up with the introduction of several fresh characters, including John’s long-lost sister, who takes on the vigilante persona known as Dollface.
The synopsis for the second season reveals: Following the events of the season one finale, John and Quiet are thrown into the treacherous Twisted Metal tournament, a devious demolition challenge orchestrated by an enigmatic figure referred to as Calypso. Amidst a barrage of perilous new adversaries and returning foes, including the treacherous Sweet Tooth, John faces unforeseen challenges, particularly when he reunites with his sister, Dollface, a vigilante with her own agenda.
