Unknown 9: Awakening Gameplay Showcases Haroona’s Supernatural Abilities

Bandai Namco and Reflector Entertainment have made exciting promises of an engaging single-player, linear action-adventure game known as Unknown 9: Awakening. The game has caught much attention through various promotional events leading up to its launch. Recently, an extended gameplay walkthrough was shared by Bandai Namco, allowing gamers a glimpse into nearly 10 minutes of fresh footage. 

The highlight of the walkthrough was Haroona, the main character, showcasing her supernatural abilities. Creative director Christophe Rossignol provided information and shared insights about these powers. Various powers, such as Stepping, which lets players momentarily take control of adversaries; Ripple, which lures enemies into environmental risks; the use of a Shroud for brief invisibility; and the ability to telekinetically move opponents, were demonstrated. 

Additionally, the video reveals stealth gameplay strategies, hand-to-hand combat, and a variety of locations that players will visit throughout the game. Moreover, it introduces different types of adversaries and various exploratory aspects of the game. The game encourages players to deviate from the main path, offering ample exploration opportunities. This is illustrated through some light traversal and investigation mechanics set in a lush, densely vegetated backdrop. 

Anticipate the launch of the thrilling video game Unknown 9: Awakening, slated for a fall release on an array of platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also be featured at Gamescom in the upcoming month.
